Our company, started in the early 1970s as a family-owned business by Andreas Karagiannakis, a man with extensive experience in the poultry industry. Since that time, we’ve worked hard to continue bringing quality products into homes and restaurants. Today, these same values and vision are continued by his two children.

CERTIFICATES

The poultry slaughterhouse and poultry cutting laboratory of the company is located in Galatista, Halkidiki and is housed in a privately owned space with a total area of ​​2,000sqm while it covers an area of ​​40 acres. Our slaughterhouse is a state-of-the-art unit where the rules of quality assurance and consumer protection are reverently observed, while it is certified with a food safety management system according to EN ISO 22000: 2005. The production process is completely vertical until the delivery of the finished product to the store.

FACILITIES

The company's 3.000sq.m are located in a company owned 45-acre site in Galatista, Halikidiki. Our factory is a state-of-the-art technological unit with respect to quality assurance standards and consumer protection. The company was certified under ISO 22000: 2018 in compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements for food safety management and implements a HACCP system. 

The production process is completely vertical up to the delivery of our products to the stores.

In its 46 years of operation, Halkidiki Poultry A. Karagiannakis SA has succeeded to remain profitable despite the adverse conditions which at times hit the poultry industry. 

Today, we continue to grow as a top producer, both nationally and internationally, staying loyal to our primary principle and company motto “tradition of quality”.
