Chicken liver with singlino of Mani and caramelized onion bulbs
INGREDIENTS
  • 800 grams of chicken liver
  • ½ a cup of olive oil
  • 400 grams of onion bulbs
  • 1 garlic clove
  • ½ a cup of balcanico
  • 1 tablespoon of soy soup
  • Grated peel and juice from an orange
  • Salt & Pepper
  • Oregano & Thyme
  • 250 grams of singlino of Mani
METHOD

Clean the livers and heat up a wide frying pan. Saute the livers in the olive oil, add a pinch of salt & pepper and add the onion bulbs. Boil down with balcanico. After that, pour the soy and the orange juice. Leave the heat on for 15 minutes. In the end, add the grated orange peel and sprinkle a little oregano.

Serve it with mashed potatoes.
